Five Medicine Hat Tigers make NHL Central Scouting preliminary list
NHL Central Scouting released its preliminary rankings Monday, placing five Tigers skaters on the list ahead of the 2026 draft.
NHL Central Scouting's preliminary rankings, released Monday, include five Medicine Hat Tigers: Noah Davidson, Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll, Luke Warrener, Cash Christie and Denis Pasler. Davidson earned an 'A' grade despite not having played this season, after finishing fourth among WHL rookies with 30 goals last year and adding 12 points in 15 playoff games.
Gordon-Carroll received a 'B' grade following a slow start, with only three assists and no goals through the opening month. Defenceman Luke Warrener, listed at 6-foot-4 and 201 pounds, has two assists in nine games and is the son of former NHL player Rhett Warrener.
Goaltender Cash Christie and defenceman Denis Pasler both received 'W' grades. Christie, backing up Carter Casey, holds a 1-0-0-1 record with a 2.74 GAA and .893 save percentage in limited action. Pasler, at 6-foot-7 and in his second year of draft eligibility, is still seeking his first point and has missed the team's last two games with injury.
The Tigers begin a six-game U.S. Division road trip Wednesday night in Wenatchee.
